Geordie Dancer wrote:Huge credit must go to everyone connected with Hua Hin City in pulling off a major coup not just for the club but for Thai football. Not one, not two but three Brazilians are on their way. Have any Brazilians played in the Thai Leagues before? I would doubt it. Can't think of any.
My club at home signed the first Brazilian in english football, Mirandinha, and now Hua Hin sign the first Brazilian in Thai football (possibly). As the song went in those good old days

We love Mirandinha,
He's not from Argentina,
He's from Brazil,
He's f**kin brill.

And he was brilliant. You don't get many poor Brazilian footballers, lets hope these guys don't prove us wrong. Exciting times ahead. Can't wait for Sunday. Howay Hua Hin!
That gave me a chuckle Geordie Dancer........

Never hear of Raphael Scheidt........? A 5M quid buy for a club in Scotland......

Scheidt by name........ And sh!te by nature.......

I'm sure you can guess how the song went......

Apologies for hijacking the thread........

Ste860, if you really want to go on Sunday I believe there are free minibuses laid on by the club going to the game and they are leaving from the big Temple in the town centre just after midday. Check back through the posts on here and you will see contact numbers to book a seat on the minibus. If you can`t find the numbers send Big Boy a PM ( and 20 quid!!) and he will either book it for you or pass on the number for you.

You wouldn`t happen to be Rangers supporter by any chance, sand-dancer, with your reference to Raphael Scheidt?!! He actually made Regi Blinker look good and he really was as bad as you made out!! No doubt you will remember another nonentity signed by Rangers called Emerson Moises Costa who was equally as bad. I am a Jambo and I can safely say that there are currently a squad of nonentities at Ibrox!! LMAO!! Anyway, our 3 Brazilians guys couldn`t seem to hold a regular game down at Farnborough Town so they could be renamed ''the three invisible men'' if things go pear-shaped. We are expecting great things from them after all the hype that has surrounded them and the so-called wages they are likely to be on at Hua Hin.

The plane has landed, but we can't be sure if one of the 200,000 Chinese hasn't gazumped them for their seat yet  :D

Seriously, I hope we're introduced to them tomorrow.

Sorry to disappoint....... Not me...... Watching football not really my thing......

I only mentioned Raphael as the subject was revolving around Brazilians......

The Costa you mention...... I do not recall...... However I do remember that 12m buy of the Century...... Torre Andre Flo.....

If these guys could not a game a game for FT....... I think I might just have to dust off my boots and turn up at a training session....... If you played for free...... Would you need a work permit......?

I hope these guys do a turn for the team........ Think those twins might need some sort of face mask...... They certainly fall into the bairn scarer department.......

Video just been posted with Bik Dam, I'll translate the main points:

Staff in Brazil messed up documents of the Brazilians, hence the week delay.

They are ready to play tomorrow(the way he said it, indicates they might!)

With a big smile on his face and quite excitedly, "we will know the new head coach next week!" (yes BB, that's next week! I'm just translating what he's saying!)

The new stadium is 5 months away from completion

NEXT WEEK - you couldn't make it up :lach:

Staff in Brazil messed up :? Are you telling me the tale of 200,000 Chinese was BS  ?

Playing tomorrow (Ricardo said the same in the English interview) - that does worry me, but we're not really playing as a team yet, so maybe it won't make any difference.

To be fair to the club, the only time they've announced something as happening next week and it hasn't was 2 weeks ago with the Brazilians.

Perhaps Chinese new year was a contributory factor as well, who knows..... Main thing is they're here now and I'm looking forward to seeing them NEXT WEEK(tomorrow;)
