Wanted: Used mountain bike

Post by buksida »

If anyone out there has a mountain bike or regular bicycle they want to sell at a reasonable price let me know.

Looking to get one as part of my fitness regime! Had a look in the shop on Petchkasem but at those prices I'd need finance!

You're really getting into this in a serious way, BK...good for you! You will have other visions when you hit 35 then 40 then 45 then 50, all worse than the one's that came before. After that you'll just say HELL, I'm going to the bar!...LOL. By then the rug rats will be grown but until then, yes...you have to stay in shape and high energy. I'm in a pickle with a new rug rat but the elbow bending exercise routine still looks mighty attractive compared to others. :? Pete

At 'pro bike' The Treks start at about 12,000 bht and head on upwards, but they are about the best bikes around the Hua Hin area.

Yeh, they had bikes there for over 30,000 baht, I was really looking at spending around 5, don't want anything flashy or expensive or nickable.

Try the L A Gear bike shop on Petchkasem Rd in town.

I bought mine there two yrs ago for about THB 7,000.

21 gear m/bike, swing arm suspension (I need it for my fat arse) Shimano fitted.

Still going well but does not come with any anti soi dog device :guns:

A bit heavy, not classy but good for a work out if that's what you're looking for.

,
Should you ever go up Tha Yang way there's a very well stocked bikeshop on the main street.
If you come from HH, you hang a 90 degree left off the Phetskasem road to the Tha Yang
main drag, drive down 200 meters and the shop is on your left. Prices are much better than in HH.

Got one in Big C today for just over 3 grand. Should do the trick and not get nicked!
