Couples friendly

Post by WingNut »

Looks like a couple is welcome pretty much anywhere. Any place an absolute no go? We are a pretty open couple so naughty nightlife isn't a shocker and often funny

Does anybody know if there is a map online with the (some or all of the )decent bars marked on it? We are just moving down to Hua Hin from Pattaya and looking for bars with live music and/or decent 80's, 90's music. Not sure where to start looking yet.

Thank you Big Boy! I thought there would be something like that on this site, it's perfect! Can't wait to get down there this weekend and give it a whirl. Thanks again.

kmm,

If you like rock music, try J Gene (Takeang) Pub, on the corner of Naresdamri Rd & Soi Bintabaht. Good live music. Otherwise, from what I've read, Butterfly Rock seems a pretty good bet. Haven't made it down there yet, but it's definitely on the agenda!

When I’m in HH with my wife and 3 year old daughter all the bars seem to welcome us much the same, all the girls make my wife and daughter feel at ease within minuets

The Irish bar Crawford’s is a good place for a few beers for the family

Road Hole (opening again soon) is also good for a few beers the family

JW's bar also

The band from Gene pub will be playing in Johnnie Walkers from 5pm on Christmas day - should be a blast.

One of the liveliest bars in Hua Hin, aircon also. I go many times with the wife, she is a great fan of live music.

If you fancy a sunset cocktail go for a walk along the beach for a few kilometers and about 500 meters pass the Hyatt (coming from Hilton) is Let's Sea. A nice place to chill out and the restaurant offers decent food.
