Three bombs in Hua Hin?
Has anybody any info on alleged three bombs that have gone off in HH at around 22.30 hrs Thursday? The source claims there is at least one dead and more that 10 wounded.

Re: 2 Bombs in town Centre
This has obviously happened, and set up ready for the early news in Thailand. How sad for Hua Hin and Thailand. I hope they can collect some info from the many cameras in place around that area to get leads to apprehend the people behind it.

Any news who is behind this bombattack?
Re: Three bombs in Hua Hin?
I had a text from my daughter in the UK. She mentioned 2 bombs, one at the Blue Monkey and the other at the Samsam bar. Didn't believe it so had a ride down there and yes, the binta-block is closed off. Police cars and ambulances was all I could see.
Re: Three bombs in Hua Hin?
Two threads are open on this. I'm sure one of the mods will marry them up.
Re: Three bombs in Hua Hin?
My daughter got it from a friend who was in Soi 94 and she heard the bombs go off. Seems 11 injured and one Thai lady dead who sold somtam outside the Blue Monkey. A couple of tourists injured. The word is that the bombs were in plantpots and set off by mobile phone.

This from the BBC:
Two bombs have exploded in the Thai resort of Hua Hin, killing at least one woman and injured 10 people, including foreign tourists, police say.
The bombs were hidden in plant pots spaced 50m (164 ft) apart, and detonated by mobile phones within half an hour of each other, they added.
Twin bombings are a regular occurrence in Thailand's three southern provinces, which are wracked by an insurgency.
But it is rare to find such attacks in Thailand's tourist areas.
Hua Hin, a coastal resort on the Gulf of Thailand, is popular with foreign and Thai visitors.
It is famous as the preferred home of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, reports the BBC's Jonathan Head.
