Re: The best Pork Pie in Hua Hin
Called in at Market Village yesterday to sample one of these mysterious creatures.
A beautiful jelly filled (growler) as we call them up north.
Well worth the trip from Cha-am.

With a 24 hour lead time, I'm afraid I've lost interest.Matlot wrote:I don't think you would have got one anyway, on her business page she's asked people to place orders because of the increase in demand!

LOL - no. They've stated that you need to order in advance. Basically, until they've sorted themselves out, I'll stick with Hua Hin Ham & Bacon, who, in my opinion do a very good pork pie, and it's 30% cheaper. A no brainer in my book.

I use Ham and Bacon a lot and in my honest opinion, they do the best bacon, sausage, gammon, black pudding and boiled ham. I'll stop there...
Re: The best Pork Pie in Hua Hin
I had a HHH&B pork pie in the week, I thought the filling was pretty good actually, I enjoyed it, but the pastry case rather fell apart, which wasn't so good. Certainly be up for another one.
I hate all this talk of pork pies, I now have one in the fridge from that aussie brand available at VM. I picked that up at Sukhumvit soi26 yesterday and today I bought a Dickinson & Morris pie at Central Chit Lom!

Jd does great pork pies.
Don't do bacon or gammon as Jd are way better than we can do so we buy from there.

Doesn`t first floor mean something different to Americans and British?moja wrote:They are next/near to Dairy Queen on the first floor on Market Village
Re: The best Pork Pie in Hua Hin
To me, the 1st floor is the ground floor. The 1st floor is sometimes also called the ground floor, but anything above the ground floor is never called the 1st floor. Anything below the ground floor is called the basement floor. Yes? Thank you, Pete, glad that's been cleared up! While you're at it, perhaps you could explain the rules of cricket...?
This is the way

Better still, can you explain the differences between the Thai Offside rule and the rule used by the rest of the world
