Did the BCC not televise the entire England vs France match? Can't find it on Expat TV? But they showed the bloody Super Bowl!

Six Nations

One that Wales should have won, and had it won. I didn't see it as not televised on my system. England's streak continues. Pete

If you did not see the match how do you really know?
"had it won" ? - not until the final whistle.
Anyway a very hard game and Wales were streets ahead with their turnover ball, but the RED ROSE were also excellent but well played by both teams.

I clicked on to the Rugby Thread and saw "last post by Pharvey". I had a vision of him blowing his bugle and lowering the Welsh flag

England did look very dangerous with the ball in hand - the problem was that Wales turned over so much ball that their opportunities were limited.
What impresses me about this England team is their strength of character and their indepth conviction they can win. I was hugely impressed when Farrell was hit with a very late tackle from Moriarty - did he complain not at all, he sucked it in and grinned - that is waht this England team are about and make one so proud.

I would think the power, speed and ferocity of the modern game make 5 subs a good idea

With Super Rugby underway the poor Japanese Sunwolves just went down to the Wellington Hurricanes 83 to 17. They didn't give up though and scored the last try of the match. The Hurricanes are last year's champions and they are almost like playing the All Blacks as their team consists of many/mostly All Blacks. Why they schedule the champion against the last place team from the previous season as a first match is a mystery to me. The Sunwolves have character though and will be better going forward.
