Was browsing the web regarding music to get some ideas for work to do with this subject and found out that the biggest free concert ever was a Rod Stewart concert in Brazil (3.5 million people) and the biggest paying audience was for an A-ha concert in Rio too (198,000).....wow, way to go Norway 80s band and Rod...haha. Awesome!

Never knew that both are Guinness world records.

I think the guy left his stick shift in neutral and didn't put on the hand break! If so, serves him right.

'Neknominate' goldfish swallow pair avoid prison

Daniel Challis, 24, swallowed the pet fish when taking part in the Neknominate drinking game where people film themselves downing alcohol.
Challis and friend Cheryl Stevens, who videoed the incident, were jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work.
He said: "I didn't think eating a fish could cause this much trouble."
Challis, from Westhill Road, Torquay, was dared to eat the fish despite not being "overly keen", Plymouth Magistrates' Court heard.
The video of him putting the wriggling goldfish in his mouth was posted on Facebook.
He denied causing unnecessary suffering to the fish, as did Stevens, of Brecon Close, Paignton, who admitted she videoed and posted the footage.
RSPCA prosecutor Kevin Withey called it a "bravado exercise".
He said the goldfish was alive when Challis put it in his mouth although both defendants maintained it was dead.
'Dead and slimy'
Vet David Martin said the fish was moving in the pint glass and it would have suffered.
Challis, who claimed the fish could not wriggling because it was dead, said it was his hand shaking as he held it up.
Stevens, 27, said: "It was dead - he was shaking, he was nervous."
Challis said: "It was dead. I flinched because it was slimy and not pleasant. I had a drink and my hand wasn't steady at the time."
Magistrates convicted both saying the video evidence showed the fish was alive.
They were each also ordered to pay £1,200 in costs and have been banned from keeping fish for five years.

So I guess that means all fishing is out as hooking a fish in the mouth would cause it unnecessary suffering...

"Video of deadly spider killing snake will haunt you

The redback spider is among the world's most venomous spiders. It looks like a black widow on steroids, basically. The Eastern brown snake is the world's No. 2 most venomous snake, capable of killing a full-grown human. These two monsters faced off in some warehouse in Australia, and it was seriously terrifying. The snake appeared to get trapped as the redback spider went for the attack. It stood no chance despite the much larger body and deadlier bite. The spider won. But really, how did these people just stand to the side as this was going on? How can they ever show up to work again at that building knowing that deadly snakes and spiders can show up at any moment? All of that is horrifying."

I think we might have a similar story somewhere.

Russian woman could face THB100,000 fine after caught feeding fish in sea

A 53-year-old female Russian tourist has been arrested after being caught giving bread to fish at Phuket’s Koh Racha Yai yesterday.

On Sunday afternoon, while officers from the Phuket Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) were carrying out routine checks for illegal activity around Plub Pla Bay, they came across a woman feeding bread to fish close to a coral reef.

The woman, identified as a Russian national Olga Smirnova, 53, was informed by a translator that her actions were illegal and that she had broken one of the island’s environmental rules.

The woman was shown a copy of posters placed across the island warning of the rules.

Smirnova was taken to Chalong Police Station where she is currently being held awaiting a court appearance.

67-year-old man dies from heart attack after catching rare monster on Pokemon Go

The worldwide craze that was Pokémon Go brought about its own dangers, thanks to everyone walking around with their eyes virtually glued to their smartphones in a bid to catch ’em all. Now, the hype may have died down (despite the newest updates), but hardcore fans are still playing the game.

One such experienced player was a 67-year old retiree, who achieved a level of 28 with the capture of over 200 kinds of Pokemon under his belt. Tragically, that was the last thing he did before passing away.

Lianhe Wanbao reported that he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest after catching a rare monster called ‘Lapras’ and a second generation monster ‘Granbull’ last Sunday (Feb 26) at 5.30pm in Marina Bay Sands. According to his 66-year-old wife, MBS was one of his favourite haunts to play the game, and that’s where he went after he headed home to change following the birthday dinner of a family member.

His wife received a phone call from the hospital after 6pm, when medical staff told her to go over and see him one last time. He had a history of cardiac disease, and passed away shortly after he was rushed to the Singapore General Hospital by paramedics.

"Why exactly are these turkeys circling a dead cat?

Why in the world are the birds doing this? They might be performing what’s called a “predator inspection,” says Alan Krakauer, a biologist at the University of California, Davis, who studies the behavioral ecology of birds, in an email to The Verge. Sometimes, animals lower down in the food chain approach predators — a behavior that can be seen as risky, but can actually help the prey. Making the predator aware that the prey know it’s there can sometimes scare the predator away. The “inspection” also allows the prey to check how determined the predator is to attack, and can alert other animals to the danger.

Krakauer says he’s seen turkeys act in a similar way with a coyote once. Richard Buchholz, a professor of biology at the University of Mississippi, agrees: he’s also seen this kind of circling behavior in the turkey bird family, which includes chickens, pheasants, and quail. Following the tail in front of them is a way they stick together as a flock, he says.

What’s weird is that in the video the turkeys are circling a dead cat — definitely not a dangerous predator. And turkeys don’t usually eat dead animals, including dead cats, so it’s not like they’re doing some weird ritual dance before tasting their meal. What could be happening is that the turkeys are stuck in some kind of never-ending circle, with each bird following the tail in front of it. “It’s not unusual for them to get into those dances where they chase each other around,” Scott Gardner, a turkey expert with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, tells The Verge.

It’d be interesting to know how long the turkeys continued their weird ritual dance, and whether at a certain point they just got tired of it. “Maybe they are waiting to see if the cat wakes up?” Krakauer says. “Definitely amusing from a human perspective!”
