Order of posts

Hi Lev

Is there a way to make the latest post in a thread show up first, ie at the top of the page when you get to the topic? That way, you would not have the bother of scrolling to the bottom of the page or pages, to get to the latest entry? I check the site nearly every day, and end up doing a fair bit of scrolling when there has been a few new enrtiies...

Still think this is one of the best forums anywhere, and checking it regularly helps me get thru the cold and rain here in Canada !! Thanks for getting all the HH news out to us

It does already, newest posts are at the top.

Maybe something to do with your browser or cookie settings, try another browser and let me know how it goes.

I must have the same security settings as Gin Tonic then Lev. It is definitely the first post in a thread that appears at the top - but that's the same as nearly every other forum/message board I've seen, so no worries.

I'm a little confused here ... its supposed to be like that, posts go on after other posts, not before them, its logical.

I have never seen another forum where new posts are above older ones, new threads are above old threads but not posts.

So G&T theres nothing wrong with your browser, its the way that forum software is designed.

No problem Lev. Just tought it would make it easier to browse new posts. I guess I am thinking about the way e-mail replies come thru, ie: you do not have to scroll down thru all the old replies, your latest reply is at the top.... That makes more sense to me.
