Makes me less likely than ever to 'discover' Pattaya though. Not through fear, but because much of what I read about the place makes my flesh creep. Sorry if that sounds snobbish, but give me 'Hua Hin: the Bournemouth of Thailand' any day.

LOL
I think they mean a 'sucker punch'. Too hard and with no warning (the receiver probably was not even looking, hence cowardly to attack them). One of the most dangerous types of punch because the recipient has no chance to move/roll with it or prepare in any way, hits you stone cold.

Best way to deal with someone abusing a woman or someone half their size.404cameljockey wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:38 pm

The rest of the beating was not needed.

Pattaya is a magnet for the foreign and Thai trash...plus unsuspecting tourists from both sides too. Strong the douche can be in Pattaya. Not confined to there, but often is more concentrated in such places.

Thank you for the explanation. I've never been a fight and have no knowledge of these things.

You're more than welcome, although you don't have to be particularly pugnacious to pick up the parlance of pugilists!handdrummer wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 3:33 am Thank you for the explanation. I've never been a fight and have no knowledge of these things.

Once again we've overstepped our boundaries and the Topic police has intervened. With profound apologies to the local authorities I hereby submit and desist. Even 5 yrs. in the land of OZ didn't prepare me for this.Bluesky wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2018 12:04 pmIn Aussie parlance it actually referred to as a "King Hit"handdrummer wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2018 11:34 amor the alternatives of alliteration.404cameljockey wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 7:25 am
