Reading about enforcement of visa regulations I wonder if anyone knows the answer this :
If I am director of company (for house purchase), does this mean I need a work permit even though I am not 'working' ?

I would have thought so, but Burger or JW will be best able to answer that.

No, you don't need a work permit as the director of your own company.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.
