Afternoon high tea..

Post by usual suspect »

I know that for many years now the Sofitel/Centara have done high teas each afternoon, but was wondering if any other places in HH served this style of buffet light meal..??

I really like the McFarland House at the Grand Hyatt. Make sure you don't go on a Sunday though as they do brunch instead of high tea on Sunday's, and that's definitely not a light meal. If I remember rightly the high tea was 300++ p.p.

Hi u/s and MDMK

McFarland house at the Hyatt Regency certainly does afternoon tea. I think that you will find, however, that it is 600 ++ pp - (Sundays excluded). See the page at thebarai dot com /mcfarland-house-must-visit-hua-hin/

Enjoy and hope to see you next week u/s - as Janet and I will be back at the Hyatt. Will try to catch up with you via Matron.

Cheers for now

From the referred web page -
" Afternoon Tea
Monday – Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM  (not available on Sunday)
THB 600++ per couple"

So 300 pp for 2 people.

:oops: Whoops :oops:

I was certain that we paid more than 300++ each, some time ago. Should have checked more thoroughly - sorry!

We usually stay at the Hyatt a couple of times a year and can thoroughly recommend McFarland House or, indeed, the hotel.

Cheers for now

Oops, double photo there. Pricing from their site, pic from FB (Aug 2018). Another photo, not exactly a big pot of tea, but not my thing anyway.

Does look quite nice though, and piece price, broken down / sum of, not silly at at all.

ENJOY
