**SOLD**Yamaha RG620DZ Guitar with Roland GKA-3 "MIDI" pickup fitted
OK, but of a specialist item this!
I had this guitar customized when I was in England, and brought it over to Thailand with me in January. This involved taking the neck off, and wrapping both the neck and body carefully in bubble wrap and then placing the parts in between my clothes in my suitcase.
No damage was sustained on the journey, however after bolting the neck back on, the guitar needs to be set up. This will probably involve a trip to bangkok, unless you're able to do it yourself or happen to know somebody here who can do it for you (in which case why didn't you answer my plea for help before? )
I don't really have the time or money to get this to bangkok and get it fixed up. I also don't currently have any equipment to make use of it's special pickup, and neither am I likely to for a good couple of years. I have therefore reluctantly decided to offer it for sale, and just get myself a cheapy little acoustic to play for now.
The guitar cost me £450(21,600bt) new about 4 years ago
The pickup cost £100(4,800) and fitting a further £300(14,400)
When fitting the pickup to the guitar, a small crack was made to the bodywork between the two gka buttons. This is not noticable unless up close.
Additionally, it appears there is a small problem with the wiring, in that when you plug both the GKA pickup and Jack pickup in at the same time, a lot of noise is created from the Jack output. This can most probably be solved by filing away a piece of solder on the PCB. Both plugs work fine when used independently.
(see bigger picture)
The guitar features easy grip tuners, and a simple 'flip' locking system.
Due to the rarity (one-off!) of this guitar, and my reluctance to sell it in the first place (!), I am looking for 20,000bt.
If you're interested and want to come and have a look, then let me know.

As I'm likely to be moving house soon, and could do with the additional cash, I would be willing to accept 17,000 for this.

Yet again I could do with the cash and I really don't give this instrument the time it deserves so (begrudgingly) I'm willing to let it go for 14,000 and a large bottle of Singha!

Down to 10,000 and a small bottle of Singha

Are you sure that you can afford both a guitar AND a Land Rover?
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
