I go to HH every christmas/new year, it is like my annual highlight. I stay at White Sand Hotel, Naresdamri road, which use the LaPaillote for breakfast service, and I also dine there a couple of times during my 14 day long holiday. Last christmas the staff told me that the Belgium owner had split up with his thai wife and gone home to Europe. Now a month or so ago, I read that the restaurant was up for sale. Does anyone have any knowledge if it has been sold or maybe shut down. It would be a shame if closed, because I have allways enjoyed the staff, food and surroundings.

After doing some questioning and research, it has come to my knowledge that the La Paillote is history. However a new restaurant has risen from the ash, the "PremSara" restaurant. Looking forward to test it on my x-mas holidays.
