TV series worth watching/downloading

Recently watched a four part mini-series on Netflix called Collateral.

I would imagine very accurate to what is going on in London at the moment with regards to immigration.

I disagree, Homeland Season 1 and 2 probably best of the lot, got a bit silly after that and I gave up during Season 4.

Have just finished the first season of "Messiah" on Netflix. Must admit to have thoroughly enjoyed it so far and assume episodes must be available to download through the "usual suspects". Looking forward to Season 2!!

Not sure I would place this as worth downloading but great for the "oh dear" cringe factor:

Busted in Bangkok . A look at the Tourist Police and their "wannabee cops volunteers" in BKK, Patts, Phuket and Samui.

I know one poster who will feel vindicated about his observations about the Brits, but to counter that, it is shown on Channel 5 in the UK so of course they will target the Brit market. The series is available for download at the usual suspects and the 1st episode is on You Tube

I've been watching it. Quite a few foreigners make the point about lawless Thailand, then part way through episode 2, there's a confused arab. The officer takes him around Phuket trying to jog his memory on his motorcycle. Of course, police officers don't have to wear helmets.

Just about to watch episode 3.

If you want a good political thriller I would highly recommend a Norwegian series "Occupied". Very binge worthy and Series 3 has just dropped. Available on Netflix and Limetorrents.

Watched trailer looks very good and my kind of thing, I'll give it a whirl, thanks

I've now finished all 3 seasons of Occupied.

I've now started an Icelandic one called Trapped....

I will also start Messiah soon despite the fact that the feedback is mixed. But because there are some people who don't even rate Homeland(a concept which utterly blows my mind) I'll watch anything despite mixed reviews and make my own mind up!

Oh and I watched that COBRA from Sky TV, I thought it was poor but plenty on Twitter seemed to love it.

I must admit that when Clarkson, May and Hammond left Top Gear to be replaced by the Likes of Matt Le Blanc, Chris Evans etc i thought it was dead as a Dodo, however, Season 27 with ex cricketer Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuiness (Phoenix Nights) and some other geezer has just aired(in my house) and I thought it was back to it's best. A breath of fresh air to a stale old series.

Bit like old cheese,tasty yet crumbly

Thought eps 1 & 2 were superb, ep 3 was "pretty good" (no pun intentded! )

BTW whoever told me to watch Trapped on Netflix, thanks I'm enjoying it!

Have to agree - had not realised Flintoff et al had taken over - the Le Blanc, Chris Evans period was a complete and utter joke (and not in a good way). Came across the Flintoff, McGuiness episode completely by accident, but thoroughly enjoyed it. May well go back to being a regular viewer (when in the country)!
