Travel insurance for other Asian countries

Post by buksida »

I know this is a long shot ...

Can anyone recommend a travel insurance company that will cover riding motorcycles on a Thai license in another Asian country?

Matt at AA is on the case but I want to cover all bases.

Quick update to this, Matt managed to find us a policy where all else failed so kudos for that.

World Nomads, who specialise in adventure travel insurance, took 15 days to respond to the enquiry. You can guess what will happen if unfortunate enough to make a claim!

Can't speak to the specific question but try True Traveller

Why? Because they're excellent to deal with and reasonably priced.

Plus they will insure you even though you may have already started travelling(that's most unusual btw)

So if they were to do this bike thing then you'll be in good hands with them.

Good luck

Too late, Matt at AA already found us a policy with Pacific Cross.
