Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
What are those things that look like halos on top of clouds?
Or is it just a trick of the light?
Terrible pic form back of taxi but hope you know what I mean

If you mean what I photographed here, I think it is a lenticular cloud.
Edited: unable to attach photo. Is it some sort of dark art?

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
Lots of clouds, lots of thunder, but not a lot of rain - in fact hardly a drop. One of the weather apps I use (Accuweather) has been predicting rain every day for the past three weeks or so, but we haven’t had “proper” rain more than a couple of times.

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand
I've been here almost 6 years so I've seen a few downpours....... that's got to be the most violent rainstorm I've experienced here. The rain run-off at the back of my house here in Bonkai fresh market area had trouble coping with it. I had visions of having my own lake in the kitchen . Still raining quite hard but at least the car has had a good wash 555
