Possibly Soi 56/58 will be fixed when the rail double track is near completion and as part of the work for the bridge over the tracks.

I hope so and I hope it happens in my lifetime. I understand the purpose of the bridge but I've never seen a Thai walking in that area, or, to be fair, many other areas.

The bridge is for vehicular traffic.

Will that traffic be funneled into Soi 58, making it even more congested or will it extend into a new Soi?

It will be interesting to see if they can fix the very end of soi102, which is little more than a single lane - in parts - dirt track. Its only about 100 metres long and is increasingly used since they fixed the rest of the road. I have seen officials there checking it out, but I would imagine it would require a very small land grab, a yard or so either side, to complete. It's not used for anything, its just a mix of trees, bush and rubbish.

Is the very end of Soi 102 within the municipality area or is it in Thap Tai?
