Car tax windscreen holder

Post by fellwalker »

Where to buy a “car tax windscreen holder”?
See the UK version below designed to hold square paper and reusable as has a slot.

You may not be able to find that style here? I've never seen one anyway. The single plastic sheet type with the tax paper under it and only supported by the windscreen glass is the norm. Having said that, I'm not sure where you can get one, probably at all car dealers and other motoring type shops. I think one comes with our car insurance package each year.

Insurance company usually gives them away. Alternatively, I've bought them at Lotus's.

At KC motors when I renew my tax, they always supply a new 'sticker'.

I've had the slot-in holder since I bought the car but I've never seen them on sale.

I always get one with the insurance policy but usually just leave the old one in place.

Thanks for all the contributions.
As the old saying goes "if you want a job doing properly do it yourself".
I bought a clear plastic A4 binder insert and with some sticky job done.
