Did you have to leave your existing frames with him for the 2-3 days ?

Yes, fortunately my eyesight is not that bad that I can’t manage without them, but for some it could be an issue.

I have the in-laws down from Isaan and it’s clear they need new glasses. As a tight Yorkshireman who no doubt will be paying for the glasses, where do people recommend?
I don’t want designer, well knock offs would be fine.
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

They should of course get their eyes tested and Dr. Pairat is the best for that. You don't have to buy the specs there but he'll give you a prescription so you can buy elsewhere.

The cheapest option of course but certainly not the best is glasses from the stall in MV.

I’m currently getting eye tests and buying a new pair of glasses from Dr. Pairat. His hours have changed from the post above. He is now open from 9am - 12pm and from 5pm - 8:30pm, Monday - Saturday, closed on Sunday.
