Actually she is a very dominant leader (we have 3 dogs in total). She is very protective of her pack, including her humans. However, she hasn't got to this grand age without a few illnesses, and several times her daughter (a really miserable bitch, but we love her as much) has tried to become the leader. However, the bid for power has never lasted more than 24 hours before she takes power back.

As for dog number 3 (the alpha male), like most men, he knows his place and does exactly what he's told.

We'd only had one dog at a time in the past. It is fascinating having a mini-pack. Her dominance stretches to every other dog in the Soi. The way she won the Soi dominance is a story in itself. A really amazing beast, and we'll really miss her when her time comes, which we hope will be a long way away yet.
