Well, not sure about 'still', but in this game he looked like a clumsy, lumbering old man...

That's good news! Christ, if we could get a win today we're creeping towards top 4.dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 9:47 pmWell, Son's starting and Gil is on the bench, so...

Newcastle will be fired up though after becoming the richest club in the world. Fans will be back in full voice. Players given a little extra motivation.
Fingers crossed.

Actually, the original reports might have been close to the mark after all - there were two false positives, apparently.

Jesus H Christ, watching the build-up to the game, St James' Park is the last place any team would want to go right now!

Yes, quite the atmosphere! Hopefully spurs can silence them quickly.

Well Spurs are doing a fairly decent job if silencing the home fans - 3-1 up at the moment!!

Dier doing Dier things made it more difficult than it needed to be in the end but saw it out pretty comfortably. Up to fifth anyway. Not bad, not bad.
And I hope Newcastle get relegated. Fkin state of the fans.

How ironic would that be, spend billions on a Championship club

Re: Premier League 2021-22
I'd like to see Newcastle do well again, and I think the more top clubs in the Premiership the better, but... the Newcastle fans have given Bruce such a load of abuse, who's a Geordie FFS, a decent bloke and obviously loves the club, that part of me hopes the whole venture is a disastrous failure. Jesus, they probably blame him for Selvey being a complete idiot getting himself sent off!

I think Norwich should just be banned from the Premier league at this point. Look forward to the first football of the day and get Norwich.
