Never needed to buy personally but if you're in town the two places I'd try would be;bigston wrote:Suggestions please for a shop that may stock a decent selection of eye drops

1. The big pharmacy on the North side of Soi night Market(the section between Phetkasem Rd and Soi Sa Song) has a huge sign above can't miss it
2. The pharmacy on the corner opposite Baan Khun Por and close to railway crossing at Soi 88. It faces a 7 11 and is next to another 7 11
Good luck

Below is the brand you'll find most often everwhere here. Some places I've found that's all they have. Works very well for me, and I have lens implants. Feels really good if you keep it in the fridge

I have to use eye drops 4 times a day for dry eyes. The best selection is at Dr Pairats clinic by Market Village. But I am not sure he will sell them to you without first inspecting your eyes. I mention this, as he is the cheapest too.
I use the pharmacy mentioned above in the night market all the time. They meet all my needs, even a generic and much cheaper alternative to Ventolin (which they sell cheaply in any case), but they dont sell the eye drops I use. Very frustrating.
Lab Pharmacy in Bluport have a good selection as well.
I have to use this and from my searching only the good Doctor, Lab Pharmacy and Boots sell it. Boots being the most expensive.

They are very good in my opinion - now our goto pharmacy. Not expensive either. The pharmacy on the corner opposite Baan Khun Por and close to railway crossing at Soi 88. It faces a 7 11 and is next to another 7 11

What symptom(s) are you treating? If it's dry eyes, the above-mentioned Cellufresh is available at all pharmacies. If it's Glaucoma, I get mine from Dr. Pairat. Not cheap but cheaper than blindness.
Re: Chemist/ Pharmacist Shops
I'm okay thanks, as I get my supply from Dr Pairet at check up's and I have found him to be the cheapest. Parking around the area of Baan Khun Por is a pain in any case.Big Boy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:12 pmcaller, have you tried the pharmacy mentioned by thecolonel?:but they dont sell the eye drops I use

They dont get dry as such, i just get rather red eyes due to dust, pollution etc
ive been using Visine since whenever, which worked a treat.
The Cellufresh might be worth a go and ill certainly check out your recommended places to try
Thanks

You can say that again! I come in from cutting the grass and my eyes feel like they're going to fall out with all the dust, pollen and whatever. That Cellufresh takes care of it all. I use 2 drops per eye with about 2 minutes in between applications, sitting with head back and eyes closed to keep the drops in.

Antibiotics are not like painkillers (paracetamol, ibuprofen etc) and should only be taken for specific infections normally on the device of a doctor - I think it would be unwise for anyone to recommend anything without medical knowledge.

Exactly, if you don't know the disease, you can't treat it.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:20 pmAntibiotics are not like painkillers (paracetamol, ibuprofen etc) and should only be taken for specific infections normally on the device of a doctor - I think it would be unwise for anyone to recommend anything without medical knowledge.
If you know what the problem is and know that antibiotics are called for, go to a dr. and get a prescription.
There are many types of antibiotics and one size doesn't fit all.
Then there's the issue of the antibiotics destroying the good bacteria in your gut, and what to do to replace them.
