General health check up

Post by bigston »

Every year until, these past 2, i have had a good old going over by my home "trusted " GP
just a good and thorough checkup, to see if there are any immediate issues
any recommendations for a good trusted GP
do i need to go to one of the big hospitals ? , id prefer a smaller local clinic type operation.
Thank You.

Bewell clinic 100%, you don't need to be a member, old fashioned GP service.
Dr. Paemika saved my life.

I guess a lot of us see Doctors in hospitals. They tend to offer packages for a full check up with state of the art equipment. Otherwise, just routine check ups quarterly or whatever.

I've got social welfare medical insurance, but I have been fortunate that it is with a private hospital under this scheme. The crowds are not as bad as that you would find at a typical government hospital, but it still is packed. Having said that, I have yet to find any of the doctors indifferent to your condition, and I will say, compared to the Blue Shield policy that I had concurrent with this, I have yet to have had a bad experience.
