Spin off of another thread (mobility scooter), which I believe are 3 wheelers.
Been researching lately and found a couple of interest, one as stated, I'll probably get this year. DECO line of products seem to tick all the boxes for me. I'm not affiliated in any way. Have scooters & motorcycles, which I didn't realize there is a difference by definition, as I called everything with 2 wheels as scooter, whether a Honda Scoopy or big ol' Hog.
Anyway, DECO has some nice 1 & 2000w products & one 3000w engine scooter. Latter with higher speed & range, and price tag of course. If your drive your scooter hard, like myself, may be the one that can take a beating. Although you will look like a Panda food delivery guy if leaving the rear storage box on

The Suzuki / SUSU model, not that I need the extra power or distance, but better to have. If not that, maybe the Super Ace.
All in the same 'class' (1k or 2kw) seem to be similar specs, just styled differently. A few 1000w & 2000w models to choose. Don't think I would consider anything less than 2000w.
DECO gives the impression of no registration & tagging, a major plus, unless rural and staying that way. If so, then should also peek at this brand / model, which I'm having a hard time linking, without the BS, so if interested, just Google the name. Actually have one for sale locally on FB Marketplace for 40k:
See the tag mount, but yet to seen one with tags.

Re: Electric Scooter, Motorcycle, bicycle (2 wheels)
That was long enough ... now bicycles. Was considering this, until realized price is a bit more than I want to pay for an E-bike, along with if having, how much pedaling am I actually going to do. Love riding my Schwinn bike, even long distance, just hate the return trip, hence the though of DIY converting it to an e-bike.
But for the sum of the parts, a good 750 or 1000 mid-drive Bafang motor conversion, I can buy one premade, on a Mongoose frame for the same. Didn't update my research for that, after finding the DECOs. If they use the new aluminum Mongoose frame, I may have to break down and get one. But a ฿50k e-bike, after getting the DECO may seem a bit silly, even for me. I do seem addicted to collecting crap though.
If anyone interested, here the vendor that caught my eye, again, not affiliated:

I think the rule on E-bikes in Thailand is over 500w then it has to be registered and insured.
But TIT. The police probably don't even know the rules.

For scooters, another brand worth a peek, AJ and a dealer that offers both:

E-bike ... done
And ... freakin' awesome. Bike is originally a bit heavy, and only had 7 gears anyway. Heavier now w/motor, and nubbier rear tire, and now much slower if pedaling. So didn't bother with chain hook up for self or assisted pedaling.
Comfortably does 40 kph, and without any better shock suspension, really don't care to go any faster. Will have to get a bike helmet though, as at that speed, my coconut won't bounce that well. Tidied the wires up a bit before the test run.

TH has extended the EV Subsidy program to motorcycles.
https://decogreenenergy.com/index.php/th/ We bought ours from EV Pranburi, and very good customer service, located a couple kms south of Pranburi Lotus, just off Phetkasem:

That actually looks interesting, at 60,000bt that Double Ace model above is about the same price as a Honda Click and looks similar. I'll have a look when I'm back next month.KhunLA wrote: ↑Sun Dec 25, 2022 9:34 am TH has extended the EV Subsidy program to motorcycles.
