Pluto TV and Others

Post by pharvey »

Apologies if posted previously - I did search.

This has been advertised on UK TV and seems excellent. From home in the UK I get a great quality stream, but just wondering what the quality is like overseas and whether or not a VPN is needed (after all, my use would be when travelling again for work).

That said, did watch a couple of classics..... :thumb:

Not available in Thailand, won't even load the homepage, just a statement...."working hard to bring to your area...." Would have to use a VPN.

Works brilliantly (10 minute test) with a VPN. I've bookmarked it as it has a few channels I used to watch regularly on AIS, but they've disappeared over the years. Welcome back.

Won't work from Singapore either - seems to be UK IPs only.

Being in the UK, have no end of stuff to watch. However had a look at Pluto again out of interest last night and couldn't get away from the "Classics".... Laurel & Hardy up to 3am!!

As per the comments, seems I'll easily be able (dependant on speeds) to stream overseas - I use CyberGhost as a VPN which enables me to pick and choose locations.

Glad you're enjoying BB! :thumb:

Oh yes, I love watching Most Haunted (somebody has to) - I think it's hilarious. There's plenty on there to keep me amused.

Just as a question, are you streaming to your TV (via PC/Cable etc)? I've not tried via HDMI, but would be interesting to know picture quality in Thailand via VPN.

I'm streaming to my (very old/decrepit) laptop via Express VPN. I connect to my TV via HDMI cable.

When watching something old like the original Most Haunted, the picture quality is not HD because TV wasn't made in HD back then. If I'm watching e.g. Coronation Street (sad, I know) or the footie, then the quality is perfect.
