The police have a couple of off payroll peeps that make problems disappear so they don't have to get their hands dirty.HHTel wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 4:12 pm Well since the police turned up en masse, we haven't heard or seen him. Never a day went by without him making several appearances. He appears to have got the message.
Pretty sure he won't be a problem as he knows that he's in the radar now. And as I've said before, he has other family once he decides to move on.

I traveled recently, and had one of the Samsung Smart Tags on my bag. If you press it, it sends a message to the phone it is connected to, and if you press and hold it, it sends a different message to the phone.
Not that I think it is a great solution, but you could have your daughter temporarily carry one with her, so that if this guy runs into her, all she would have to do is click and hold it, and you would receive a message and location.

She has the police on speed dial. He knows that. I've only heard what went on on the police visit on Sunday. They spent time getting him to understand the gravity of what he's been doing.
They have told him that if he behaves, then a court order is not necessary but if he steps out of line just once, then the courts will use their power and he could finish up in jail.
Since then, he's only been in contact by messages/phone calls. He's truly 'sorry' for the upset he's caused. Tried the sympathy card "My heart's broken" but he just wants an agreement when he can spend time with his son and promises to behave.
So far, so good. Fingers crossed.
