Anyone have a contact for making a Thai TIN application?

As far as I know, you get it when you have a B-visa and work permit. Not sure how individuals on retirement visas can get one, it shouldn't be necessary as they can't work or earn in Thailand.

I'd consider changing your bank!

The lawyer told me that most of those looking for Thai TIN’s are from Iceland – don’t think I ever meet someone from Iceland?

Got a feeling all Aussie banks will on the same page. Not really a big problem for me, I already moved most of the money into my daughter’s account.

There were many questions on the form that I couldn't give a satisfactory answer to. I wrote a full explanation in a covering letter, and sent it to the UK. That was months ago, and I've heard nothing since. I guess I'm OK.

Still heard nothing, so I guess they weren't really looking for me, despite all of the questions/threats. Maybe you will be the same.
