This won't help those living in Hua Hin or south who have to battle with Highway 4, then the dreaded 323.

Had a few days up there recently and went on back roads for the entire trip not touching either of these roads once. The 3510 is a fantastic stretch of road running parallel to Petchkasem from Kaeng Krachan (you can access it from Ban Nong Plub west of HH) to Ratchaburi province. There is virtually no traffic on it, and they're widening the northern section, possibly planning a second major highway to the south.
