However hypocrocy from mods is to be expected as the pm accused me of being opinionated (hello whats a forum for )to the point i had stopped people posting and they had left the forum because of me (PMS to me since are to the contrary i may add) The unopinionated pm poster however can find 15 year old boys and his parents guilty with no evidence whatsoever and found the judge who had the sheer audacity to sit and hear the witnesses and the evidence and find no fault no blame guilty just for good measure (this is one member leaving and make no mistake it IS because of that mod and that mod alone) Wishing me all the best after the original discourse was a piss take and quote dont leave the forum was downright friggin insulting

I echo buksida's comment welcoming you back, although it seems not for long! I don't quite know where to start with your post, but there is nothing in the Terms and Conditions about PMs being revealed or discussed, although there is one about mod decisions being discussed on the forum, but if someone is unhappy about a mod decision or action they can contact admin via email or PM. The author of a PM can tell someone else, or put it on the open forum if they want as long as it doesn't break any other forum rules. A recipient can too under the same guidelines.
The reason I felt compelled to post is that it seemed that some kind of rumour or story was starting that you had been hounded out of the forum, when this really isn't the case. The fact that it was a mod that wrote to you is neither here nor there; all the mods are also members of this forum, and will make it clear in any posts or PMs if they are acting as a mod rather than a member, and most of the time they are giving their opinions like everyone else is on here, which is open to debate and counter opinions. The PM you received made it abundantly clear that this was a personal message and not a moderator one. One thing that should be remembered by every member is that the moderators do not have the choice to ignore a particular member or post - they have to read everything.
For the record, nowhere in the PM I have seen were you called opinionated. The sender of the PM said that you had an egotistical attitude (somewhat borne out by your final sentence I think) but that is their opinion of you, and in fact did not suggest or ask that you change your opinion, just to be a bit more respectful to both other members and their threads when you post.
My opinion, not speaking as a mod but as the individual that i am, is that like many other people, you do not like it when someone challenges or disagrees with what you believe to be true or right. There is one constructive way to deal with that, which is to debate the particular issue with the other, putting forward why you think your way, while they do the same. At the end of that process, you either both give up, agreeing to disagree, or one of you comes around to the others position, or at least an understanding of it, although that is rare. However just because that person disagrees with you on that one issue, does not necessarily mean that they won't agree with you on something else, or that there is something fundamentally wrong with the other person - they just don't agree with you. It appears to me that your reason for leaving the forum is not the PM, but the fact that someone disagreed with you and continued to do so. If that is the reason for your leaving the forum then you have probably made the right choice, because you will continue to come up against people who disagree with you - it's the nature of not only this beast, but life itself. To take the good wishes of others as an insult baffles me, as i know the person in question certainly did not intend that, and to make comparisons between HHAD and some of the world's most evil dictators makes me think you really are from Mars! Your presence was and will be missed, as not only did you present some interesting takes on life in Hua Hin, but also some comic relief along the way (which is also the intent of some of the threads you were so disparaging about) and there are plenty of people here who genuinely wish you well, including the sender of the PM and ALL the mods. It is just a pity you feel the way you do, as in the end it is your loss.
