If you walked out of the Hilton, turn right it's about 150-200 meters down toward the pier on your left, next to a tailor shop. Only a small place with about six tables. Good crispy large pizzas there and pretty decent prices.

What's the name of the joint?
thats the caruso - not bad, rich fillings, even though the dough could be better.

La Villa is on the small soi going down past City Beach (is that Poolsuk Rd?, not sure). It's just a little way in from Damnernkasem Rd, right opposite the side entrance to City Beach

been to "la villa" and must say, great food and service there. the pastas and shells looked nice, but unfortunately not so the pizzas.

they were good cheese cakes - but caruso definitively makes better, more authentic ones.

so the search goes on ...

tks to the moderator for finally leading me to la villa!

was worthwhile, but I keep you posted about further pizza discoveries.

My 2 satang:
La Villa served me a terrible pizza last summer. Undercooked in every way, totally tasteless, more expensive than others and took the urine with small singha at 110 baht.
Feh!
Much prefer Caruso's and used to enjoy Amica when it was Yusa's place.
