Marshy,
I wasn't trying to have a go, I was genuinely trying to help. As I said, I can't duplicate what you get from that webpage as I have a Mac computer, and 99% of viruses are designed to attack PCs running Windows. The website opens fine for me, which is why I asked you to post more details about the problem. If you could be a bit more specific about the message your anti virus software gives you, as well as what AV software you are using, others may be able to help - it could be that it isn't a virus at all but the settings of the AV software are too sensitive, or are detecting something it can't identify so suspects a virus. buksida or Lev know much more about this subject and may be able to recommend a better AV package, or how to adjust your settings. Finally the browser you are using and the version of Windows could also be a factor in this, so if you can post what that is it would help. I suspect you are using Internet Explorer though. I hope that helps.

Aye, as WL stated your internet security settings are probably too high and the site is trying to run a script (javascript more than likely). I get no such errors but it does seem to be trying to launch a popup window.
Try lowering your internet security settings or using a better browser such as Firefox.

Buks, I did get a virus the 1st time i pressed on the external link, (Js/Psyme.NR). I think was caused by the Jamster popup add that appeard at some stage.
I now have firefox installed and is no problem in there, no sign of pop up or virus.
Check on a PC without firefox and it blocked the pop up add, but no virus this time.
Anyway Marshy, at least you know that your virus protection works now, take a chill pill and enjoy your xmas/new year holiday.

On a commercial website, you are more likely to get some script injected by an iframe as you surf past. The offending site operator may or may not know about it.marsh wrote:Hi There,

Maybe it was a virus .. or maybe it was a script that "behaved" like a virus to your AV.
All my sites were compromised by an iframe attack last July .. and I found the infestation only by accident. It had corrupted every site on a VPS server .. probably more than one.
That particular iframe was injecting advertising/tracking related script.
