Honda Hua Hin

Post by heretostay »

Word of warning for anyone thinking of buying a new honda car.

I have been thinking of downgrading my car, for obvious reasons(petrol)

I had a look at the honda jazz and city both very economical.

I seen on a post recently about hua hin not doing any extras,

The honda jazz 08 was very nice, but as i expected they offered no exras etc for the car.
as its this years new model.
went yesterday to honda Pranburi,

advertising in the showroom honda jazz 09 same price as hua hin, free insurance (hh cost 20k) and options.

so dont be fooled in hh and buy the honda 08 as the new model as the 09 is out, better looking, new lights etc.

Why in Hua hin are we always screwed. no wonder so many houses up for sale. :thumb:

How right you are about Honda Hua Hin.

I bought my City from Pranburi because they also offered Central Locking, Reverse warning and a 'Go Fast' Spoiler on the boot all FREE whereas HH would not give these extras and only give a discount of Bht 1,500 even when presented with the Pranburi offer.

I saved in total about Bht 40,000 - enough said!!

We had the same experience recently when we purchased a CRV. Tried HH Honda first, but eventualy completed the purchase at Pranburi.

Very helpful staff and a better deal

Good to know about Honda Hua Hin. I bought my CRV at Pranburi also before Honda opened in HH. I have always gone to Pranburi for service and last time they're (only?) English speaking employee whom I always dealt with was no longer working there. I was thinking about trying out Hua Hin for future service but was wondering if their prices were higher just because they are in Hua Hin. Honda Pranburi is very reasonable on scheduled maintenance items.

Perhaps with the recent events of a certain Honda Jazz mysteriously catching fire, perhaps you had better ask for an optional fireproofing pack if you are considering buying one.

Bought my Honda new 7 years ago! At Petchaburi, long before Pranburi and Hua Hin opened.

However, have had it serviced at Hua Hin the last 5 times and can agree with PET - extremely prompt & efficient. The guy who runs the service there, used to work in the Petchaburi Honda, even recognised our car and referred to it as'one of my babies'

I think the price of servicing is the same - no matter what Honda dealer does it.

Honda HH

Post by charlesh »

Can't comment about the price for new cars but am prepared to recommend Honda HH for the level of service and price for same. In my current role as an inspector here in melb (10 days left) I rarely see a facility so good as the Honda HH maintenance section. Had the front end of my Civic replaced (mishap with drive way and different level road) in Aug - they were terrific at Honda HH and even drove me back to Kao Tao and YES the customer lounge is great with in internet access, cable TV, drinks and newspapers/magazines.

Bought a new car from Honda HH just had my 10.000 kilo service. The process of buying the car from them was easy they speak good english and yes if you are serious about buying you do get free insurance and extras. The service facilities are first class a very good company.
