Pete, 2 opposite each other but the smaller one is closed and for sale I believe. Same owner.

I should have guessed that one or there would have been open warfare for using the same style sign.

Two dragon bars opposite sides of the road. One big and one small.

Great pics but shame most are closed. Would be nice to see their specific offerings on display outside :naughty:

I chose a quieter time deliberately so that the bars would not be busy. Some people do not like being photographed sat at/in a bar, especially if their partner does not know they are there.

As it was, one bar threw their toys out of the pram, and requested not to be included (even though they had no customers at the time).

I spent 3 days on 80 during my trip and had a great time down there with enough to do in the way of drinking eating and girls right there

I can kind of understand that. Considering the services that the bars offer they probably don't want to be plastered all over the internet.

By a process of elimination I think it may be one located up a side street

When I was sat on Soi 80,people watching it was blatantly obvious that some people poping into a one establishment were being naughty.
I must say I found it quite amusing and an eye opener.

Exactly, the photographs were taken, hopefully early enough, in order to prevent any unsuspecting punter being compromised.

So, that's it guys. from bottom to top of Soi 80, and back again through the road immediately behind. In my younger days I think I could have just about managed a 'small' bottle in each in a single session, but I'd have been a mess for 2 days afterwards. How the mighty have fallen - I can rarely manage a single small bottle all night these days.

Do we have any stories of people completing the stretch in a single session, or probably funnier, failing part way through?

I think many but many too ashamed to post. Why not start with your fellow mods? :duck:

Maybe they'll volunteer some amusing stories.

I would certainly have seen that strip as a serious challenge in my younger days - the seedier side would have taken 2nd place until I'd completed it. Unfortunately, the 3 times I lived in Soi 80, the only bars were Dick's Office, which was great for a real breakfast, and Ohma Bar, which I've never stepped inside.

On the basis that there are 40+ bars (not including restaurants) on Soi 80, I think that the vast majority would fail half way through a bar crawl.
