fun golf day

Post by Gin tonic - no lime »

Pretty well any day is good for me and my wife....

retired you know

Ok if I substitute my normal Tequila and lime for the beer at each stop.... I have kind of proved that most times it does not hurt the game, and sometimes loosens up the swing  ... a good thing for old farts like me.

Geeze GT, almost a year since you've been on here last. Welcome back! Start a thread or two and let us know what you've been up to. Pete

ok bozzman, I'm up for it - are you?

Sounds like you're the sort of fellah I could hack around 18 holes with!

I also reckon that the 18 holes on the Army course is as difficult as anything I've played here, lots of water. Comparison. Black mountain, Royal, Palm Hills, Springfield.

Personally I can't see the point of paying 600 baht to play on an army course when for 800 you can play on a decent one at the moment, I'll play anywhere though, after all it is a fun day!

In terms of difficulty I'll list my thoughts from the ones I've played, easiest being the top, hardest at the bottom:

Palm Hills
Majestic
Thannarat
Springfield
Royal
Dragon Hills
Lake View

Any thoughts JW?

Looking like we have a around 10 now, shall we say next Sunday?

As far as the course to use - what about a beer or 2 this week to put some ideas around?

For me the ARmy course is the hardest out there!!!

Not a bad run down Buksi, Palm hills is easiest for sure but not much fun IMO. Majestic struggles for condition but is super fun with some nice short holes - furthest away though, Springfield is a great all rounder. See what others think also.

Get buksida out again at Lake View. Another day like yesterday and he might sell me his clubs
Seriously though, anywhere will do for me.

Sunday at either Springfield or Lake View?? If we play around 1pm we could blast off to the driving range after for a wee beer and some grub!

Cheers,
