For those of you don't particularly want to click on the link just to find out WTF pharvey is talking about the film is Renfield. It looks like it's going to be one of Nicholas Cage's better efforts.

This is the end of The Last Kingdom series, rolled into a movie. It tells the story of Uhtred of Bebbanburg and the 937 battle of Brunanburh which was a turning point in English history. If you liked the series, this will be for you.

Welcome
I couldn't be patient with The Pope's Exorcist. Stuck it on this evening—is brilliant! One of the better possession movies of recent memory. Based (very loosely I'm guessing ) on a real guy and real events. Russell Crowe doing his thing, a good score and great setting, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Recommend.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.
Evil Dead Rise coming tomorrow. Gore, guts and goofy possession, it's a whole lot of fun. A very worthy entry for the famous franchise. The 2013 remake was excellent if you've not seen it yet.
Guy Ritchie's The Covenant is out. He can bring out some bangers— Lock Stock, Snatch, The Gentleman (I liked Aladdin, too ). Jake Gyllenhaal stars to boot.
