Interesting to hear the Celtic has a new owner. I haven't been to HH for a couple of years now but I do recognise 1 or 2 people who contributed to this thread (but I don't think they'll know me!).

To be honest there was talk of possible new ownership back in 2003 (when all the girls were polite, spoke pretty good english and gave you a decent game of pool). Things deteriorated when the cashier (yupin) left as well as a few of the other girls, not to mention An selling the place! I'm surprised to hear Onn is still there, but since this thread is over 6 months old that may no longer be the case. If she is then please say Hi from me the next time you visit Celtic (though judging by the remarks in this thread most of the regulars are moving on to other bars now).

Its a real shame, that place had great potential!

I was there in oktober and had a real good time. Every time that i visited, the bar was filled with a lot of people. while other bars had none to just a few visitors.
The girls are all friendly and not to much in your face. The young Thai manager " Nak" is a real good cook and makes, if you are hungry, inexpensive tasty dishes. And the lady owner " Nee" is always around to make sure everybody is happy.

This bar i family friendly too.

Just my opinion.

Hi Martin,
i visited nearly every Bar in Selakam and Binthabat in the last two month,of course you will have many Bars who some people likes and others dont.I can say that I wasnt yet disappointed too much in any Bar,just be nice with the Girls and they would be nice with you.If you get an information on a Bar today it might not be the same when you arrived here, there are changes in staff and relocations nearly week by week, just come on and see your self.

REVIEW OF CELTIC BAR

Post by Thai Tam »

Having recently visited the Celtic bar, I am now convinced the place should be renamed - Union Jacks, Chelsea Banners says it all really, and they still don't show the Bhoys.

Please, please, will the owner either reinstate the place as a real Celtic bar and show games or do the decent thing and remove the good name of Celtic.

Hail! Hail!

Hi There

Ok OK so the bar name not match the bar.

Please NOT Chelsea, any thing but Chelsea.

I not mind that team but you cant replace Glasgow Celtic with Chelsea.

But lets get back to the hoops.

Did you make it to you place in Hua Hin????

9 days to go.

Perhaps if you want no teams mentioned in the name of the bar, we can name it "The Special Ones Bar"

maby someone ever thought that the term celtic means more then just a football club?

why do all brits only think of football and beer??

The following should only be pronounced /selt(ik)/:

Celtic Football Club of Glasgow, Scotland
Stalybridge Celtic Football Club of Stalybridge, England
Lurgan Celtic Football Club of Lurgan, County Armagh, Northern Ireland
Boston Celtics professional basketball team
