Another storm hitting us - strong winds and gusting rain and the lights are flickering so wouldn’t surprise me if we lose power before it finishes!!

We had around 20 mins of rain. Lots of lightning and thunder but the rain was nothing special.

It looks as though the rains have stopped, at least for now, although for the past few days it’s been fairly windy and considerably cooler, a welcome change!!

The LHG is actually in HH with a girlfriend at the moment taking a bit of a break as well as sorting out a few things with our place there. Despite being brought up in Chongqing - one of the "Oven Cities" in China, she's found it difficult with the heat - getting too used to weather in the UK methinks!!

You couldn't make this up ... stunning weather for weeks in Hua Hin, get back to BS, and that Wile E. Coyote cartoon rain cloud is smack overhead as usual ... hasn't stopped pissing for three days, yard flooded, roads awash, river about to burst.

Apparently Chumphon, Surat, and Nakhon Si are underwater. :duck:

Rainy season always comes late down here, and it always comes in one massive hit at the time time.

I'd better pack my wellies then

Will there be a 'Welcome to my World' sign as I pass Bang Saphan? I remember driving through a micro-climate around BS on my way to Koh Samui last year.

[Edit] Mrs BB has bought a new sun hat for the trip
