Oh well - here we go

First Single - Are You Sure .........The Allisons (Around 62 / 63 I think)
First Album - With the Beatles.........Beatles

First serious live act - Jimmy Hendrix .......Seen at the Botwell Club in Hayes Middlesex around 63/64 I think.

Remember seeing the Rolling Stones at the Granada Greenford (63 I think). On the same bill were The Hollies, Dave Berry and an all girl American 'sensation' called Goldie & The Gingerbreads. Interestingly the Stones issued an EP called 'Got Live If You Want It' recorded at this gig.
Also many years later (1994) whilst visiting the Hard Rock Cafe in Beijing when on a business trip, I saw one of the advertising posters for the very same concert.

Credibility - who cares 8)

My first record was a 78 rpm "stone cake" type with Count Basie called One O'clock Jump that I bought in the early 50's.

I remember saving up to buy my first. I remember the artist, Santana, but not the album.

Probably late 60's, early 70's

its proper maddening reading the accounts of seeing Jimmi and stuff

born 10 years too damn late

my great gig memories are of daft arse bands

Ronnie James Dio doing a laser sword fight with a 30 foot animatronic dragon in Leeds

Saxon at Machester blinding the front 30 rows with their lights

Iron Maiden in their big arena massive Eddy days

being deaf as a post for a day or so after every Motorhead concert

Seeing my idols ZZ Top suck balls and then walk off in a hail of bottles in Brixton.

The Ministry (industrial band not house music lot) concert in Brixton...burned into y memory

God Machine in the Park.... audio fear and loathing in London

AC/DC EVERY FRIKIN TIME!!!! Donnington as well!

all small beans.

Id trade em all for a night of Jimmi
