Cider........

Post by pharvey »

Do any of the wonderful establishments in Hua Hin serve a decent cider? Or for that matter, can I get hold of any in the marketplace?

Living in SW China I rarely get a cance to sample the wonderful nectar and was hoping I could rectify that next week.

Cheers barrys - you are a gentleman and a scholar! I shall make my way to BB's late next week to sample the golden nectar..... as luck would have it, I think I'm staying 500m or so from Tesco Lotus, so shall make sure I have room in the fridge!

Pete.

I'm working in Somerset at the moment; do you want me to do some research for you?

Steve, I could tell you exactly where to go..... in Somerset I mean! At the moment, the majority of the family are in and around the Bath/Bristol area - I was there for around 8 years I guess from 12/13 onwards, hence the love of cider. Cheers anyway!!

Ok, for the uninitiated, what does alcoholic cider taste like? Apple cider or more towards an ale/beer? What is alcohol content?

I see it all the time over this side but have never tried it. I'll have to give it a go sometime. Pete
