Call signs that are too close

Hi Admin/Mods and others that wish to comment, but........

Can you give us the "low down" on this so that we know where the line is, seems that someone lately has ridden the line by electing another established members name and then adding a few numbers or what after it to evade the default registering rules/parameters etc.

What I mean is, that if someone joined as "Spitfire1" the I'd certainly be PMing Admin with a complaint.

Seems to have happened to someone else recently. Is there any rules/parameters on it in general Admin? Or is OK, suffice to say that it is a little confusing to honest.

IMO, there should be nobody registering as the same name as some other member with numbers or code afterwards, especially if the original holder of that name/call sign is a regular poster.

Just a thought and I have no idea how easy it would be for you, Admin/Mods to implement, but that's why it's been posted here.

I think Spitfire means me! It`s up to the mods of course but maybe he should change his call-sign as most of his posts seem to be on "the dark side" and Mrs.A. might get the wrong idea if she could be bothered to read HHAD!

One is a region of Greece as well as an entertainment venue in Birmingham UK. The other is a region of Eastern Canada, and that's where he lives per his posts. My personal take is that it's a coincidence. Pete

It obviously looks like 'suggestions' and 'comments' such as these should be made by PM to the powers that be rather than risk the contempt/instant ridicule of a few idiots that only have divisive plans for their postings, ie trolls.
