Dangerous Hua Hin
Dangerous Hua Hin
Seems to be quite a bit of trouble around Hua Hin at the moment (fighting).
I believe the guys involved hang out in the [edited by Admin], to be avoided me thinks. Tied up with the [edited by Admin] problems.
Doubt they will be around for long as they do not have work permits or any money. Even the prostitutes in [edited] wont go with them and they are all dire.
Sad London twats.

Good Job
Seems the bloke/ette had a wish to disrupt.....Shite, the slammer om Beach Roadd in Pattaya is full of busted up drunks. I lookking to put down roots, buy a home etc. that's why I'm looking at crime free and Farang Friendly HH! (SPAM HERE?)
I hear that All Kidda has declared war on Thailand. Shite, just the boozer blokes in from the counties in the fight could get off the piss a woop'em good!
Don't wish to upset the apple cart and such like, and I know that I'm new to this board (a board which I find very useful and worthwhile) but, isn't this editing and banning a form of censorship? Other postings complain of censorship in the Thai press blah blah, but here we are banning people for implying something, which others can question if they wish - or, why not move the post to the opinion section. In the opinion section, I have read posts that openly slag off bars etc. Isn't that slanderous?

I guess the owner(s)/mods have decided they wish to avoid slagging on this board.
Perhaps they don't want HHAD to suffer the same flame wars and stupidities of other Thailand boards.
Not samesame as press censorship as no one is harmed or disenfranchised.
It's privately owned and operated so its up to them.

It is when there are alternative agendas in motion, as was this thread.Mart wrote:I have read posts that openly slag off bars etc. Isn't that slanderous?

Yes it can get lively. However in a small place like HH where eberybody knosw someone who knows everybody else it can cause problems even for people who do not visit this site.TrueorFalse wrote:Yes a slaging off free zone. Gets lively though.
Admin must be pulling their hair out sometimes wondering how to tackle certain situations. Adding to this is the fact that they work hard trying to deliver a useful service for free. This should be taken into consideration and they should be allowed to run the site as they think fit. I know from personal experience that whatever approach one takes you will never satisfy everybody.
C'est la vie.
Anyway keep up the good stuff. Your input is always worht a read.

I totally agree and want to underline the fact that this is the best website in Thailand if you agree with freedom of opinion and expression.
Some may find it hard that Lev and moderators do their cuts here & there, but the majority of us should be able to live with that.
"Slaging off free zone" I don't get it! What do you need that for?
Hope you're joking man.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.
