Hope to have as pleasent a trip as my last three years, but really must do more than sit in sun all day and drink all night this time, any ideas ? Is fishing worthwhile there?

It's been transformed into a fish and chip shop but Richard is still around.

Normally you should be just fine that time of the year but keep an eye how it develops on the very first page of HHAD

I see from the weather forecast you are still getting rain and thunder, is this normal for this time of year? We usually go to Phuket
/Pattaya at xmas and it is dry and sunny. we came to Hua Hin in August and it rained, when is the dry season? Are the bars open past midnight?

Happy Birthday to his majesty.

Sam,
Yes, the weather is unusual for the time of year. Was 200 kms south at the weekend and whilst they would expect a bit more rain than HH, it's been a wet year for them.
Dry season here runs from Nov time to Julyish, although you wouldn't believe it at the moment.
