Good jeweler shop in Hua Hin?

Post by Chromeman »

I proposed to my GF yesterday (she said yes! :D ), but unfortunately, the ring is a little too big.
Anyone who can recommend a good jeweler in Hua Hin who can re-size the ring?

In November, I had a shop re-size (make smaller) my wife's gold ring; for 500 baht they did an excellent job. I'm pretty sure the name was "Star Jem"; I found directions to it, in a post from last year...

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=24183&p=309236&hil ... ze#p309236

"...You may need to look at the city map to follow this, but if you walk along Poonsuk road heading towards Dechanuchit road and then when you reach it, cross the road and head right. There is a jewellers shop almost immediately opposite but then a further 20 metres heading towards the pier is another jewellers, which is where my wife got her ring resized. Very nice husband and wife run the shop and whilst I cant remember the exact cost, it wasn't expensive (fairly certain it was about 1000-1500 baht)."

The post mentioned above by Clinton114 was my post, so it would seem that he was as happy as me and my wife were in getting the ring resized. Assuming they are still operating from the shop, the husband and wife team are very helpful and friendly and don't look to rip you off. Congratulations by the way!!
