Kanchanaburi visa run?

Post by leither69 »

My first visa on my triple entry visa expires on the 10/7 I have an opportunity to go to Kanchanaburi in my friends car on the 8th. Will I still get a stamp on my passport even if I am going a few days early? Advice would be appreciated.

thanks in advance

You'll get stamped back in for 60 days (assuming you've got a tourist visa). The visa itself will be marked as used twice and you'll have a new "permitted to stay" stamp. That stamp will allow the 60 days from entry. The fact you're doing the run early won't allow you any extra time, ie 60 days from that moment, not 60 days + whatever time. And yes, you'll get another stamp.

Thanks, I will apply for my non O Visa soon, I was using up my triple entry visa's first but I was slightly concerned that they might let me come back in because I had a visa with time left on it.

Cheers
