Re: 90 day reporting
Aaaaaahhhhhh ... it all makes sense now ...... I think
Every year when I've done my annual extension, they always put a slip in, and also tell me when my 90 days are due to be notified. i.e. they've automatically done the 90 days for me. Well ......... until this year!
I did notice that there was no slip, and they didn't say anything, but I was so relieved to obtain the extension I didn't bother to query it.
They couldn't have come up with another little trick to catch us out could they?
Furthermore, every year at the time of my extension, my 90 days is nowhere near due, but they give me 90 days from the date I renewed my extension.

90 day report - from when?
Do you get the next 90 days from the date you actually report(15 days before or 7 after) or simply from the date you were due to report?
I'm getting mixed messages on Google
Thanks

Re: 90 day reporting
If you do it on line, it’s 90 days from the date it’s approved. Although I believe it’s the same if you do it in person, you have the ability to apply up to 7 days after the official expiry date - on line has to be done at least 7 days before expirythecolonel wrote:Do you get the next 90 days from the date you actually report(15 days before or 7 after) or simply from the date you were due to report?

Re: 90 day reporting
So if you have 7 days grace you might as well use them as it pushes your due date further down the road, so to speakDannie Boy wrote:If you do it on line, it’s 90 days from the date it’s approved. Yes, the main benefit of doing it online is that you don’t have to travel to renew - in my case it’s a 60 km round journey but means it’s more like an 80 day report!!

Yes good point, not done an online one so didn't know about the 7 day before rule, that's significant!Dannie Boy wrote:Yes, the main benefit of doing it online is that you don’t have to travel to renew - in my case it’s a 60 km round journey but means it’s more like an 80 day report!!

Online, it's 14 days prior to.
