Thipurai City Hotel

Post by thehamok »

Anyone have any information on this hotel.

Is it guest friendly ??

Any other comments on it ??

Seems to have a good rate for 7 nights i.e. pay for only 6.

Is there safe deposit boxes available ?? Can't find out on web site.

Thanks.

The Hotel looks pretty decent from outside, but I've never stayed there,
there are plenty of reviews for Thipurai City on SAWADEE.COM if you have'nt seen them already.

Do a search on this site - there's loads of mentions. I know a Swede who stayed there last year and found it guest friendly.

Very good hotel for the money. The rooms are nice - fairly simple, but large enough, comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly. If you dont want to go to the beach, the pool on the 5th floor is OK, and they now also have loungers on the roof on the 7th. Good situation right in the middle of town, but quiet enough so you dont get disturbed.

Yes, it is guest friendly - the rules are no dogs or durians, but guests are welcome. There's no safe deposit in the rooms. I guess there is one in reception but I don't know.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending it. I think it's the best value in town.

Enjoy.

Thanks Jim.
No they don't have safe deposit boxes at all.

Not sure what you're supposed to do with valuables etc.
That in itself is putting me off now.

Anyone any suggestions ????
Thanks in advance.

Bircow,
Yes you are correct. I misread the email from the hotel.
They don't mention a fee but non the less they do have safe deposit boxes.

Hi we stayed in Thaipuri in Jan and Feb, we had safety deposit box in our room (in wardrobe). It was really clean, nice staff very good value.
