Thailand's dark side: why you really shouldn't visit Koh Tao
Re: Thailand's dark side: why you really shouldn't visit Koh Tao
I hasten to add that the figures I quoted are for 2017 and it does refer to 'young people' on holiday.

According to reports and statistics is safest to be an American when visiting Thailand. It seems to be one of the few countries where they don't want to kill Americans. I don't know why they keep killing Brits, maybe it's the accent.

More madness from 'Mafia Island' ...
Man allegedly kills himself on Koh Tao
The owner of a diving school on Koh Tao allegedly took his life after a Facebook Live session telling his friends about his family and work problems.
Police were reported at 3.10pm on Thursday. When they arrived at a two-storey house in Surat Thani’s municipality, all doors and windows were closed. Two big bikes were in the garage.
Since no one answered the door after they heard a gunshot, the police cut iron bars on the second floor and entered the room where the sound came from.
There, they found a man wearing a full bike suit, complete with a helmet and gloves, lying dead in bed with a red doll in his left hand. He had a gunshot wound to the chin and a 9mm pistol on his body.
The man was identified as Pattapol Ekpathomsak, 48, owner of Alvaro Diving School, The Pirate Bar and Taraporn restaurant on Koh Tao.

The police heard the shot and entered soon after. That may actually be a suicide.
Re: Thailand's dark side: why you really shouldn't visit Koh Tao
It certainly seems to be a suicide. It would be interesting to know what the motivation behind it was. He owned a diving school, a bar and a restaurant.
Re: Thailand's dark side: why you really shouldn't visit Koh Tao
Possibly all 3 businesses were failing. That would explain the ‘work problems’. No money coming in?... would explain the ‘family problems’ too, I guess.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Impressed by the silence from this forum members about the fake rape case. Brit members must be ashamed to have such a UK citizens who is the shame of their country. No rape evidence. She had an orgy with the 5 males sharing her bungalow and being ashamed she found a scapegoat. Luckily case is closed.

She actually gave a decent account of what happpened to her, I believe to The Times, I think I saved it somewhere and she came across as a very level headed young lady and even urged visitors to not boycott Thailand, a Country she declared as loving, despite what happened to her, but naturally, warned of thhe dangers of travelling to the Island.

Nothing happened, NO DNA, NOTHING. She even gave 3 interviews to 3 different newspapers. All this for money and soon I am sure she will publish a book.caller wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:56 pmAnother blatantly obvious trolling and moronic post mate. You really are the lowest of the low. What is being overlooked is the fact that other tourists have been raped and murdered on this island so the topic title is still valid.
