The guy who for years did this and other leather work, before he was moved on from the railway line crossing area ( near the Chinese supermarket) has moved to the fish market area. My wife says it is too difficult to explain where, but if you go in that area and ask LOCALS where the man who repairs shoes is working they will direct you.

I am somewhat hesitant in posting this but the man was so good and going and having a look etc may be rewarding.

i posted seperately about this a while back

there was a Thai shoe maker guy named Andy, who spoke really good English

he had shops in Poonsuk near all the massage girls, just down from London Bar and one near Chao Lay

then had one near Mucky Duck, close to Baan Khun Por, but that didnt work out

he made Cowboy boots and leather goods

I lost contact with him, if anyone knows his current contact details shop etc then please advise

He can fix many things not just shoes e.g he did a brilliant job repairing my golf bag in several places and my golf umbrella too. As well as my golf shoes too obviously!

Hi
My wife has used the one in Bluport a couple of times for heels.
Bottom of the sloping down escalator turn left then on the left. Also cut keys, little bit like Timpsons in UK.

"This Shoe Repairer and repairer of many leather products and zips etc is on Riab Tang Fai road which runs outside the HH railway station. Come out of the station and turn left towards Soi70 Chomsin Road. Before you get to the new round-a-bout ( say 500mts from the station) the shop is about the last one on the left hand side. he has been there for very many years and is still there."

Most of these shops have now been closed or demolished.
Do you know if the shoe repair guy has moved to new premises?

From the petchkasem road go up the chomsin road, when you get to the rounabout turn left into prapokklao road. Do not go over the railway line.
Carry on for about 300 metres and in the little street on the left you will find him on the right hand side, normally you can't miss him.
He also has a sign on the pavement.

3rd June 2023
COBBLER — as well as shoes, he repairs handbags,
purses, money-belts, briefcases, clothes and more.
telephone: 082-879-9727 or 063-176-1731
location: travelling west along Thanon Chomsin,
turn left immediately before the railway crossing,
then take the first turning on the left and the cobbler
is about ten meters along on the right. He repaired
my leather money-belt and my wife’s leather purse
perfectly.

Are these the guys that used to be next to the roundabout/railway line before that strip was demolished?
I'm looking to get one of these cheap suitcases repaired as the zip lining has burst.
Thanks,
GN.

Here is a link to Google Maps. Unfortunately, it looks as though the camera car didn't go down the road. Go down this road to the right hand turn. The guy is on that corner.
