Trusted Real Estate agent recommendation

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for real estate agents here in Hua Hin. I am looking for someone that can explain the whole buying process, get me the best deal and guide me through the whole buying process.

It would be interesting to hear buyers views on their experiences both good and back.

Most agents need to be taken with a grain of salt as the bottom line and priority will be that his advice will lead to a sale and commission. So a bit of general knowledge before talking to them would be helpful.

I'd second that. First showed me around houses in the area 10 years before I finally settled here. He had to wait a long time for his commission - lol! But that's the point, he's been here and in the same game for a long time and as a consequence, has built up a very good reputation.

Thanks guys, was taught years ago that the most important rule in any sort of sales work is to just tell the truth and treat all you meet with respect, doesnt matter whether your selling a pair of shoes or a million pound house .

I concur with other posters about JW. I don’t know him personally, and I don’t imagine for one moment he would recognise me if he ever saw me again, but he was recommended to us circa 2009/2010 and showed us several properties. As it happened, the houses/locations he had on his books weren't quite right for us at the time so we ended up going with another estate agent but I would say that JW was very professional and I do still hear positive feedback about him/his company - people say he does his best for everyone concerned, i.e. the buyer as well as the seller.
