Hut bar Soi 80
I hear on the grapevine that Hut bar on Soi 80 has closed - anyone any info? It wouldn’t surprise me tbh as any number of the bars on Soi 80 seem to be struggling for customers.

It was open and doing ok on Saturday and no one mentioned anything about closing. One of the girls said she was there until the 25 th then going home to see family.
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

Was a good bar, but since some time not anymore due to bad management of this fat owner. Closing will not be a loss.

I hear someone else has taken over the bar. Someone I know so can't say much more about it. Used to be a good bar and I actually liked the lady that run it. People tell you things in Thailand and you can't always believe them, seems this wasn't a lie. Saturday was election closing wasn't it?

Good spot! Technically it was Saturday as I was there past midnight on the Friday!
Does this mean the ‘Other place’ on Soi 94 has also changed hands?

I was probably sliding around 80 Friday/Saturday. Let’s hope if it does reopen, it’s for the better. Two doors along (away from town) has had a revamp (clean and paint) better for it.
Have been to Soi 94 but only for pizza, so I don’t know the bars.

Would appreciate any updates as I'm (unfortunately) back in the UK now. Also, the fact that I know the person who may be involved, please don't take that as an endorsement.

Both good questions! I loved the Hut Bar and it's basically my local whenever I am in Hua Hin. I also like the "Other place" the family owns on Soi 94 although catered to a much older crown as it should be. Will be back in Hua Hin June 10th so hope neither of these establishments is closed down!
